Record stores have basements, and basements have no signal. On iPhone and Android your collection lives on the phone, so you can browse it, search it, filter it, edit a record and add one by hand with no connection at all. Your changes sync themselves once you're back above ground.
The one thing that needs a connection is adding by photo, since the cover is identified on our server. On the web you'll need a connection too.
That's the moment it was built for. You're stood in the racks holding a record, no idea whether it's already at home. Search the artist or title and you'll know in seconds if it's a gap in the collection or a double.

Yes. Duet gives two people one collection, both with full edit rights. Band does the same for up to five: households, share houses, and the friends you dig with.
Yes, and it's a real home for a smaller collection, not a trial with the lights dimmed. Thirty records, ten AI Credits a month, and the whole app with it: the cover carousel, tags, notes, listens and storage locations. No card.
You have two choices. How many people share your plan: Solo is one, Duet is two, Band is up to five. And how much room you want: Gold or Platinum, where Platinum holds more records and more monthly AI Credits.
Yes, whenever you like. Upgrades land straight away and everything comes with you, records, notes and listens, the lot. Nothing to re-enter.
If you're on a Founders rate, timing matters. While the window is open every plan is at Founders pricing, so you can settle on the one that suits you. After the Founders window closes, moving to a different plan means paying that plan's standard rate, not a Founders one. Your rate holds for as long as your subscription runs unbroken.
You keep what you've paid for until the end of the billing period. After that the account drops to the free plan rather than vanishing, and your records stay exactly where they are.
If your collection is bigger than the free plan holds, nothing gets deleted. You just can't add new ones until you're back under the line.

We're a couple of Melburnians who love vinyl and care deeply about building something simple, intuitive, and genuinely joyful for collectors everywhere.
Vinyl Crate Space started with a familiar frustration: fuller crates, harder-to-track records, and those moments of "I know I own this somewhere," plus the occasional accidental duplicate.
So we built the tool we couldn't find, and we're shaping it with a community of collectors, DJs, music lovers, and crate diggers from Melbourne to everywhere. We've been living with it ourselves for almost five months now, using it pretty much every day, and our own listening has intensified because of it.
