Keeping track of lent and borrowed records
Note who you've lent a record to, or borrowed one from, and find them all in a location.
Records wander, out to a friend, or in from someone else’s shelf. Vinyl Crate Space keeps track so nothing goes missing.
- Open the record and tap the pencil on Record Information.
- Scroll to Ownership & Lending and fill in Lent To with a friend’s name, or Borrowed From with whoever lent it to you.
- Tap Save.
The app then creates a location for that person automatically: put Stella under Lent To and a Lent to Stella location appears, with everything she’s holding grouped inside it; a name under Borrowed From gives you a Borrowed from Dave location the same way. When a record comes home it leaves that location, and once nothing’s out with that person the location clears itself.
So when Stella asks which of yours she still has, open the Lent to Stella location, there they all are.
