Setting storage locations
Record which shelf, crate or room each record lives in so you can find it fast.
Cataloguing tells you what you own. Storage locations tell you where it actually is. It’s a two-step idea: set a location up once, then attach it to your records.
- First, create the location, open the menu, choose Locations, and add one (a shelf, a crate, a room, with a photo of the spot and notes if you like). See Adding a storage location.
- Then, on a record, tap the pencil on Record Information and pick that location under Storage Location.
- Tap Save, your change isn’t kept until you do.
Next time you want to play something, the app takes you straight to the right spot instead of a hunt through every record you own.
