Rating and favouriting records
Give a record stars, heart the ones you love, and heart the single tracks you keep coming back to.
Two small marks, and between them they capture most of what you think about a record.
Stars
Open a record and tap a star to rate it out of five. It saves as you tap, there’s no separate save step.
Changed your mind entirely? Tap the first star again when the record is already sitting on one star, and the rating clears back to nothing.
The heart
Tap the heart on a record to favourite it. This one isn’t a rating, it’s a shortlist: the records you’d grab first.
Hearting a single track
Scroll down to the tracklist and tap the heart beside any track. Useful for the album you keep putting on for one song, and for remembering which side of a compilation is the good one.
They’re yours, not the household’s
On a Duet or Band plan, ratings and favourites belong to the person who made them. You and everyone else on the plan can rate the same shared record differently, and nobody overwrites anybody. See How shared collections work on Duet and Band plans.
Finding them again
Open the filter panel from the bottom bar and filter by rating or favourites, on their own or alongside genres, tags and locations. See Filtering and finding records.
